Case Study: 3D Playground Markings

Uniplay were given a completely creative brief when beginning to work with Ashton St Thomas Primary School.

The school were one of the first we met with when finalising the designs on our new 3D Thermoplastic Playground Markings range and they were as excited as we were to see the games installed on tarmac.

This friendly Primary school in the heart of Ashton in Makerfield were keen to add sports and agility themed markings to their playground to increase participation in physical activity at break time. We added a 3D fitness trail complete with a bridge across a canyon, ring steps and a hopscotch.

On their other playground, St Thomas’ added more conventional educational games such as a number grid, compass with degree markers and a rocket hopscotch.

Our 3D markings are a great addition to the schools outdoor provision and we even borrowed some small children to test out the designs.
